The steeple of St. Bartholomew's Church (13th century) rises
above this quiet corner of Horley, with the Church House (16th
century) in the left foreground and the Six Bells Inn (15th
century) at center. Behind the Six Bells runs the River Mole,
which links to the site of the Horley Mill about a mile
downstream. Photograph © 1998 by Reg Watts.
